Time is the answer...

Nowadays when I put him into the passenger seat beside me, he will jump to my lap on the driver seat.
When he see my gf, he also will jump to her lap and into her hands. ![]()

Time will help. But if you give them constant love and care, simple patting on the head everyday, give them treats, they will slowly warm. But still depends on the personality.
All four of my rabbits have VERY distinctive personalities, BUT all four of them are verrrrrry manja.
Fluffie:
He's the most angelic of all. He can sit and stay beside you for hours. If you so much as stop patting him, he'll lick you. Sort of like a reminder to ask for : Hey, not enough yet .
He doesn't bite or anything. He's very mild and gentle. He is not veryathletic. He doesn't run around much nor jump much. But if he does, u know he's very very happy. He always flop and sleep around 3-6pm. He will grind his teeth when you sayang him. He will purposely pee outside his litterbox when he thinks that his cloth is dirty.
Ozzie:
Ozzie has a mind of his own. But being manja, he will ask for sayang every now and then. He will go near you if he wants attention. Once he's happy with it, he'll leave you and go play on his own. He doesn't need a very constant 24/7 attention. He will ENTERTAIN you instead with all his little movements. He's pretty fierce. He dominates Travis more or less. He will go out of his cage, and visit Travis's area. He will leave 1-2 poop around Travis cage. Sometimes he will even bite travis's whiskers if they're sticking out of the cage. He also likes to sit right in the middle of his hay box (which is really tiny).
Travis:
This one is also very manja. He loves attention. But he's more aggressive. He is the only one that can play with Ozzie. He's a bit lazy and despite his size pretty average, he's very scaredy cat. When Ozzie is around, he doesn't go out of his cage often. The moment we move Ozzie out of the same room, he dare to run around the room more. You can cut his nails just like that as long as he lays down.
Nibblie:
Youngest of all, he's the most alpha of all too. He will mark with his chin on EVERYTHING inside Travis's cage. Travis only sit and do nothing. He will try to bite and snap at Ozzie when he sees Ozzie. Very feisty. He also will try to bite and snap at Fluffie. He loves attention. At 7am he will make a lot of noise in the cage to wake my friend up. And if you don't bring him out to play for a long time, (like half a day), he will be grouchy and very restless messing up all his cloth. He is very very energetic. He do a lot of binkies and bunny 500 and flops. He even flops under your hand.

wow.. u are very understanding ur bunny~~ great..
i still not so understand my bunny.. haha.. but i can know somehow.. lol..
My bunny doesn't like to come out that much.. just play for a while at outside then jump back to his cage.. less active one.. so sometime i will bring him out then let him play outside.. of cos.. will close the cage door first.. i wish he can play at outside more.. do some exercise instead of staying at the cage whole day.. lol..
Beside, my bunny loves my toilet.. ==" he always jump into the toilet and rest at there.. dono why.. maybe he like the smell of my toilet.. haha... ![]()

Bunny dont like to leave their feet on the air one...unless they are trained or neutered/spayed.
Usually what I do is to put my rabbit in a basket, and either hug him from the basket or put him on my lap while i'm sitting on the chair. He likes to being hug that way, rather than just simply grabbing him out of nowhere and hugging him. ![]()
